Yip, not closing the borders  a month earlier has cost us dearly, both fiscally and numbers of cases

Opening up to early, with out analysed results from random testing, and getting the infection rate to zero + 14 days will keep us at  L4 and cost us dearly for many generations.

Add in this Govt is 75% very beholding to the Unions in many ways. They are fucked no matter which way they go. Go hard to get business going again and they will have serious union issues. Try to continue their 'grow the unions' policies and business could turn feral.

A smart person would lose this election intentionally. Sure it'd piss off your tribe huge but then voters memory spans are measured in minutes so not a big worry I'd expect.

But before you do maybe you should add one for yourself. and remove the bias.

5. Whatever the government does I'm going to agree cos I hate centre right politcs... But i do enjoy the fiscal benefit they bring to me via houses, boats, and holidays.

BP doesn't discusses anything so don't hold ya breath waiting for a reply. It's very common amongst the extreme ends of the spectrum on both the left and right of those moronic sh*t outcome generating 'wing' things. Have a chat to a Antifa member or a KKK member, they are at opposite ends of the political spectrum but both vomit exactly the same hate filled dribble. And both tare that f**king thick they can't see it, muppets!!

Yip. If people think our economy post Cindy's slow response (which  has allowed us to got to L4 recession) is ok. Then wait till we get to L2 with only half our revenue gone.

Hope you don't have to big a mortgage or debt cos the economy will be shagged

Don't be too quick to judge, we are in very weird times so weird sh*t can and will happen. The PM is basking in international light so there will be extreme and huge efforts to make sure that continues. Yeap it'll be a gobsmacker for many when, if they get back out there but it's done now so we just have to battle through it in the best manner possible to ensure the PM stays top of the class. I'm sure the PM's self proclaimed business experience will serve us all well :)

Yip those hours in the Fish and chip shop will ensure our economy is well organised, and with Robertson's art degree ( assisted by Cullen's hours as a wood work teacher)..  boom!..  we are across this!

KM, you are right. BPs huge effort to try and purvey me as a right wing ," real estate mogul, petrol guzzling, money hungry, hate the poor, anti green fanatic just exposed his far left leanings.

Fancy not balancing the ledger with Question 5... A real basic error there.

I think am closer to the centre than he is.

this is getting very orwellian

if 60% of kiwis are reputedly happy to extend the lockdown and tack on curfews

i want a hell of a lot more than "someone told me that someone heard it would help"

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/120979024/most-new-zealanders-willing-to-extend-covid19-lockdown-pain--survey

wonder if our "right" to peacefully protest would result in arrest?
