the only viable, audible, active Opposition at the moment appears to be David Seymour from the Act Party.

"Labour doesn't want the crisis to end. It has managed to control the narrative, the people and the polls.

[It] is desperate to avoid a return to normal politics.

That would mean having to talk about its failings."

So will this open honest and transparent Government choose to play by the election rules or not?

Brilliant read, thanks KM Isn't it great that capitalism allows one to do so much good for the disadvantaged in the community. Points to a fundamental flaw in the current Green ideology, you

Oh dear, the greens are not only being slammed by Greta Thundergob for talk a huge game they show no signs of knowing how to play, now Bob Jones has hooked into their latest woke dickwad, Mendeze the

Thats the nature of political compromise. Bismark said it best.  While the public tells you it wants housing "fixed" what they actually mean is "fix it without negatively impacting me personally"

The original ACT party was Libertarain, responsibility for self, small govt etc. It then segwayed into hard right law and order BS. Now they are a bit lost. The Right to Die bill is a good example of their original libertarain views. If they de-coupled themselves from National they could possibly be a useful political party.

And yes, David Seymour is gasping for air, he needs any airtime he can get, so he will say silly things to get attention, just like Winston.

currently the polling public don't seem to see them as being the same

colmar-brunton show winston1st losing half? their support, and dropping out of parliament

and ACT doubling? theirs, to keep their seat and pick up 2 more

https://www.colmarbrunton.co.nz/what-we-do/1-news-poll/

that would seem to show a considerable public backing for seymour and the direction he sees for ACT

and a public bollocking for winstone + jones
