Do not side tie your 16ft tinnie then padlock in place. If there is a cleat a single loop over it is sufficient. Make the loop big enough that the next arrival can thread theirs inside yours and over the cleat, allowing both parties to depart without disturbing the other line. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

This would require owners of 4.5m centre console RIBs who have just driven ashore from their 70ft Rivieras to actually give a sh*t about others!
