khayyam 68
in order to get my lowrance chartplotter talking to the GPS receiver, I ended up doing both a soft and hard reset of the chartplotter. this worked, but the detailed NZ maps seem to be gone -- now all i've got is a very crude outline of the north island! is it possible these have been erased somehow, or do they just need to be reconfigured? got this secondhand and don't know much about the original configuration, other than that the detailed NZ charts were definitely on there before. Guest
Its in the settings somewhere - I jumped on an E9 a few years back for CC and found only the low res charts but the owner insisted the hi res were loaded, a bit of fiddling in the setup and I had the hi-res up and running within a few minutes. Twas handy at midnight squeezing between whale rock and shore...
Bender 0
There's a checkbox in the menu that says "show lowrance charting" or somesuch. Check that and you'll be away.
