Well your more than welcome to come join those of us taking part in the Upto26 Winter series.

Probably be 1/2 a doz 1/4 tonners out there by the looks of things so far.

The blackfun team are about to do the qtc. we have the use of enigma, ed dubios boat. racing starts monday uk time. results will be on www.rcyc.co.uk/qtc. this is a recce for next years tour. there are 32 entries so far.

Yep not a good day for the team, Boat is good below 10knots, not very good above that.

 

They were leading in the last race of the day before it got called off, hopefully the results can keep improving!

 

Knowing the age difference and the differing IOR rule changes thru the 70's and 80's period there will be some real differences between boats. And i wonder how much difference there is because of the Mods some have made to some of these boats.

 

The old 727's would be slow against the likes of the newer Anchor Challenge designs, for example.
