Guest Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Bucklands Beach Yacht Club is one of New Zealands leading yacht clubs with activities for Keeler & Centreboard Yachts, Launch & Power boat & Fishing activities, a Training Academy & Clubhouse Bars & Restaurant. As General Manager you will be experienced in all aspects of managing a club, from the Bar through to negotiations with potenial sponsors & providing management reports as directed by the board. Organisational & people management skills will be a strong point as will an understanding of the various functions of the club & the need to create a welcoming & interesting enviroment to all club members & their guests. You will report directly to the Commodore & will be responsible for achieving the goals & objectives set down by the Board of Management. You will be able to work flexible hours, have experience in marketing & promotions & be budget focused & results driven. This challenging role will provide a fantastic working enviroment & will be extremely rewarding for the successful applicant. You must also have the ability to obtain a Bar Managers Licence Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
