We provide marina management and maintenance and also conduct many Install, repair and refinishing jobs for vessels within Auckland. We require a part time or Full time boat groomer to work both alone or alongside our boat builders. Main Duty’s would include: Boat Washing & Detailing Machine Cut and Polishing of Gel coat and Waxing Assisting boat builders with install work Interior Cleaning Marina Maintenance Varnishing and maintenance Customer Service Marina Host Optional additional work for the right applicant: Deck hand work on local vessels Skippering for anyone with qualifications Diving work for anyone with qualifications ability for an apprenticeship for the right applicant This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate that wants to learn from two qualified and experienced boat builders and an ex-superyacht Captain. No two days are the same and this position would greatly benefit a student of boat building or any marine related course at unitec. Start ASAP. Three month trial period and first few months will be on a part time basis to get going and familiar with the environment.
