Well Dirty Deeds once again proved she is the best 8.5 on the water.

Congratulations for such a stunning performance in the CC, she has showcased the 8.5s brilliantly worldwide.

Well done to Attitude, Borderline (especially considering the missing rudder) and Voom, as well, for getting to the finish, quite an attrition rate for multis.

be neat to hear the stories ...

Cheers John was indeed a great result in what was a wild ride we won't be forgetting in a while. To be up with Exodus and leading Timberwolf into the Brett was an awesome feeling knowing that we were the top 3 in division 7, and something an 8.5 can only dream of in a Coastal. Full credit to Matty Flynn and the boys on Exodus who drove us hard from Kawau with a full main up when we were barely hanging on with a single reef, we battled with them neck and neck all the way up the coast only to have him drop his rig 200m in front of us, gutting, it sure would have been close!..

Well done to the boats that finished we weren't without our own carnage with a bent mast spanner, broken prod, and severely worked over leeward rudder gudgeon to add to the list!

Cheers to Greer and James it's going to be hard to top that race! go the 8.5's!

Well done to the boys on the Deeds. Fresh out of the shed with new rig package and do that! Awesome stuff.

And realistically if they wanna get rat arsed on the wharf and enjoy them selves who are we to say no? After all Coastal isnt designed to be a sober event... And when they are were that fast they deserve a partay!

Yea they push her well, even if it is the most flipped boat in Auckland.

Just a pitty they were the stereo-typical pissed multihullers standing around the wharf on saturday.

Do all multihullers have a lobotomy when they buy a boat?

Hahaha Mr H (if it is you....) hope we didn't hit a nerve there! all in good fun don't take it so seriously, but as JK says we've seen that behaviour in the past from a more recent multihull owner!

We were just celebrating a close fought battle up the coast how was your race?

Go the 'Mighty' Dirty Deeds.
