Not very accurate though and very interesting how technology improving reporting of storms has dramatically affected the numbers. Which is where I reckon a lot of the problem we have today is that so much more is reported with the result being that people think things are getting worse than they really are. It would be interesting to see those figures plotted against Sunspot cycles etc. Or even planet alignment maybe.
