Guest Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 Knot really Hurts, I've checked. It seems Muzza was a shagger back in the day so we do have a lot of head/butt room up there. Also with the prod exiting off center it mean it'll be running almost tucked right up under the port gunwale. If anything the prod will add some toe holds or similar No I don't want it 1/2 erect all the time. When the prod is knot in use I want it to simulate the results of a swim in iced water Link to post Share on other sites
candela 0 Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 I built this for Candela. Has worked really well even putting a code 0 on it with no bob stay. THe tube is from CTech and I have used a spinnaker beak to clip it to the deck. We bolted a stainless ring to the bow roller with nylon sleeve on the inside. Really easy to put on and off so still good for cruising. The tube was 72mm id tube with a 4mm wall tapped at each end and extra mm top and bottom to help with the code 0 loads. I have built 3 so far and all have had a trashing and not broken (cross fingers ) Link to post Share on other sites
