Tiller 2 Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 The 2nd SSANZ race was better than the first but hate those flat offs without a runner so ended up 2nd to last round navy. Nice little building breeze on the wind to Gannet except for the nasty on the nose chop. Put a tack into Ahas slightly better sea tacked and laid gannet just on turn of tide.Tack into waiheke to see if any shifts off the shore one more tack intoward Pakatoa wind against tide had built up the waves so overlaid tack to Tarahiki to drive thru the sea. Run down to Pakatoa which included a couple off nose dives but quick. Couple of tacks through Waiheke and a nice reach home. We seem to have made some nice gainers on and off the wind.
