Richmond 2 Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 *** Invitation to those looking to get out on the water this summer*** Richmond Yacht Club's Victoria Friday Night Special Series We run this series of 8 races over the summer months for adults who would like to experience “a taste of sailing”, or who have experience and are looking to find a place as crew on a boat. Each race you are allocated to a different boat which can range in size from a 22ft to 44ft yacht. These popular events allow newcomers to experience sailing (and its social side) in a friendly and relaxed environment. Victoria's Friday Night Special is a series of fun sailing races around the harbour. It is also a form of networking whereby crew members are encouraged to let skippers know that they are available to crew for any of their other racing throughout the year. After the race, head back to the club for a drink or a meal plus a short seminar on the basics of sailing. First race is 17 October so reserve your spot today!
