SailorJodes 0
My current race boat has relocated after finishing the Squadron Winter Series and I am on the hunt for a crew spot for the Summer Wednesday Night Series (Squaddie and Richmond). I have 10+ years racing experience, in and around Auckland, Bay of Islands, Tauranga, and Australia (Melbourne/Geelong and the Whitsundays regatta's). Coastal racing and coastal and blue water delivery experience including a recent Trans-Tasman crossing. I hold a current advanced sea survival certificate. I am most comfortable on the pointy end of the boat, but would welcome the chance to move back towards the shouty end. Most recently I have been racing on a Farr 1020 running the bow, but also have good experience on an Elliot 1050 and a Dehler. I know how to pack spinnakers and enjoy being part of a mixed crew. I've been lucky enough to be part of some great crews, learn from some experienced sailors, and fit in best with a crew that likes to do well, but not at the expense of having fun. Sailing is my passion so I turn up. I am not a rockstar by any means but hold my own on board and find I am asked back to sail again. If you think I'd fit in well with your crew please get in touch - 022 456 3435 or jodes@clear.net.nz I'd love to hear from you. Thanks Jodie
