dgs 0 Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 UPDATE 4/7 : A taker has been found for the molds. Hoping to find a new home for the below molds. I am told they were designed by Ron Given, and they are for a 13' beach cat. The have been sitting outside in the weather for some time, but the inside of the molds appear to be in good condition. Appear to be 3 molds each for the hull and deck, and a mold for the rudders. One of the molds has a new (single) hull in it, and another a deck. Dave Giddens Sailmakers made and exported approx 100 of these in the 80-90s and exported most of them to Japan. They were rigged with main and self tacking headsail. See pictures below... If you want to check them out, they're sitting in the front carpark at Dave Giddens Sailmakers, 30 Rossmay Tce, Kingsland - just near Eden Park. Free for removal.
