netberch 0
hello! we, two german journalists, are travelling once around the world without using aircrafts - an ambitious plan, which includes some problems... for example crossing seas where there are no regular ferry-connections. at the moment we are looking desperately for a passage from any place in indonesia to darwin/australia, where at least one of us has to be till end of june. furthermore we are looking for a passage from sidney (or somewhere around) to nzl around mid of august. as one of our girlfriends will join us soon, it would be the three of us, who need to do the crossing. but it would be no problem to seperate, if necessary. unfortunately none of us has any sailing experiences, but of course we will give a hand wherever it is possible. maybe someone here is able to help us out. we would be very thankful, even for any useful advice! many thanks in advance. peer
Scubash 0
Hello! Try getting on a container ship! They all have a few extra extra cabins to take passengers. Good luck!
netberch 0
thanks for the advice, we already booked a containership for the pacific-crossing from auckland and it's very expensive... we hoped to find another and cheaper way to manage at least the shorter distances to get there. peer
Scubash 0
You are doing good posting in forums but best bet is to get yourself in Marinas...speak to people and leave notices on the bulletin boards... Good luck!
