Some experience - wanting more (race / delivery / whatever)

Hey folks,

 

I'm Zane, a thirty something kiwi fella and a wannabe hardcore sailor with some distant dreams of sailing a 40' cat around the pacific and beyond.

 

I spent holidays as a kid on a Davidson M20, have owned a couple of small cats - now own Wild Thing II, and 18foot TopCat - German design cat .(Seen sailing here).

 

I've been racing on "Hanse Off" (37' Hanse) in NZYS Friday Rum race for a year or so, and done a few other trips & races on her - eg. 50-miler.

 

I'm keen to learn a lot more, and get a lot more practical experience.

In my fantasy world, I would get to crew on a 11-14m performance cruiser cat on a Wednesday night from Westhaven... but beggers can't be choosers, so I'm not at all picky.

Note: I'm committed on Friday nights - ie. Rum Race on Hanse Off.
