Guest
Noticed a little rust bubble on the back of our steel keel fin. Must have sanded a bit too vigorously last time out. Obviously have to grind it back. Whats the best thing to put back over the bare metal before antifouling again?

rigger 47
And if I can't? Ask the paint guys at the hard stand. Otherwise you could go with single pot system. I have in the past done repairs on the heads of steel fastenings (near water line) that have started to rust - removed loose rust, light sand - treat with blackguard then PA-10 (3coats), then followed up with single pot undercoat (2coats) then topcoat (2 coats). We did use a gold coloured paint for priming in underwater areas - sorry cannot remember the product name but it was a thick product - from International. Anyone else ?
