The Panmure Yacht & Boating Club held its 100th AGM on Tues 26th June 2012.

Karl Mabbutt was elected Commodore, so River Rebel will be wearing the Commodores burgee this season. Karl is joined at the top table by Peter Tolley as Vice Commodore and Grant Ewing as Rear Commodore

On taking office Karl commented on the great facilities the club has. Clubrooms overlooking the Tamaki River which is home for some 400 yachts and launches. Storage for 200 dinghies, and a haulout slipway system for vessels up to 12 tonnes, with members fees of $50 to haul out and $8 per day storage.

Membership is open to boating enthusiasts at $295 per year which runs from from 1st Sept.

If taking up membership now the subsription carries through to Sept 2013.

The sailing programme has a mix of fully crewed racing with spinnakers, as well as a family cruising schedule of destination cruising and BBQs.
