Guest
As new Gaff Mainsail ex 54 foot classic yacht (used only three times before a significant change to the yacht's rig geometry required us to build a new sail), premium handmade gaff mainsail in Contender 10.46oz Polypreg Cream Dacron, 18 inch panels, hand finishing etc, only the best available materials used (replacement cost for the cloth alone would now be approx $9,000 and for the total sail around $20,000), made by David Parr of Calibre Sails (former sail loft manager for several Stars and Stripes AC campaigns), dimensions (in metres): Luff 8.060, Leech 13.730, Foot 10.370, Gaff/Head 6.530, Diagonal 12.650. Weighs approx 80kgs. Dave Parr would no doubt be only too happy to advise on any re-dimensioning required to suit another yacht. Inspection welcomed.
