Yesterday, yet another gin palace with engine trouble drifted down the Tamaki, panicked and dropt the pick right in front of us then proceeded to try to winch our mooring up! This has happened twice now! They've agreed to pay for an inspection and I heard there's a new guy started up who is supposed to be quite good?

Those are the 3 that do play in the Akl/Tamaki area plus a tad further afield at times. There are others but they won't leave Waiheke or are north around Kawau and are too scared of you city slicker types.

 

I think Stu is on Waiheke at the moment so wil probably be passing the River shortly. He tends to pop into it on the way past.

NOTE to all: Mooring barges are slow so all the lads like to do 'areas' rather than one off's he4nce at times there are time delays while the finish one area and move to the next. Don't expect them to arrive the day following a phone call as often they just can't. So if you know one is in your area and you are close to needing something done give them a call. Obviously all will do a special trip for you but it will cost and could cost a lot as running any commercial vessel is knot a cheap game.

AWESOME!. Thanks! I think the GP only gave the mussels a hard time as he had a fisherman anchor that caught on it but he did manage to move us quite close to a sloop further down river but will work in with whoevers time table. Just need to get some quotes and have this guy pay for it!!!
