Posted on behalf of the New Zealand Optimist Dinghy Association:

Emirates Team New Zealand and Emirates Airlines have very generously given NZIODA 2 business class tickets to auction in support of our optimist team sailors travelling to the Worlds, North American’s, Europeans and the Asian Championships. Our first travelling team is set to depart in 2 weeks’ time so we are motivated to sell the tickets!

The 2 business class tickets are return trips from Auckland to any one of Emirates’ 33 European destinations and are valued over NZ$20,000. The tickets will be valid to use within a year of being booked. The auction winner will get an outstanding deal as well as knowing their money has supported NZ’s future yachting stars. Flights will need to be booked before the end of September. Terms and conditions listed below.

NZIODA will be accepting silent/ confidential bids by email from now until 0800 Monday June 17. The highest successful bidder will be announced 0900 the same morning on the NZIODA Facebook page.

Funding is always hard to get at all levels so please send this email out to as many people as you can or better still make a bid and buy the tickets!

Please send your silent auction bid to angus.h@xtra.co.nz - your bid will be confidential.

Thanks for your support
