Wanted: Short term Auckland berth or mooring

Hi all

 

I'm looking for berth/mooring for a couple of weeks over Christmas/New Year for a 36ft keeler, from 23 Dec to early Jan. Prefer HMB/Tamaki River but could go further afield, just drop me a pm if you have something available.

Try sussing here to start with - http://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/EN/parksfacilities/beacheslakeswaterways/moorings/Pages/mooringsforsaleandrent.aspx That's the ACC buy, sell, rent mooring place. You could ring the ACC MAROPS team and ask as I suspect the lads there are as web savy as a chocolate biscuit. They are a good bunch willing to help when they can so don't be shy.

 

Or you could try ringing around the mooring contractors as they often hear and know of things.

http://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/EN/parksfacilities/beacheslakeswaterways/moorings/Pages/home.aspx#inspections is the list but you only want to try Hauraki Marine (Laurence), Moorings and Marine (Hamish) or Tidal Marine (Stu) as they are the 3 who work in that area, the rest don't.

 

Maybe ring the Clubs up the river and ask, often they have notes on their notice boards.
