No it doesn't - at all. As a professional you are not actually required to take on the work. If you take on an overpriced commission then you have just legitimised your client's position. A buyer's position has absolutely nothing to do with that and I can't see the relevance of your post.

Never mind that. Kinsale is beautiful but man that water is cold!
-
Indeed. Also doesn't change the fact that it's on his books, which means he signed a contract with the vendor to try and sell the boat. To not do so is acting in a negligent and fraudulent manner. If they're not in the business of selling 20k boats then they should take them on in the 1st place.

perhaps a roster could be set up in advance

Kiwis do some more great foiling!

keep grumbling here and it might drop even more!

Oh - sorry - you're right forgive me for not seeing the obvious connection!

How do arrive at that based on this case? I'd suggest that it's clear evidence of not charging "all and sundry". If they weren't going to put this guy before the court - what would you think would be appropriate?

yeh - except I suspect its not particularly waterproof. The Ultrasonic is IPX8 to 10m - oh wait that wouldn't be any good for you either!
Oh well back to the drawing board!

Ah - uses phone GPS and accelerometer - numpty!

What's the ultrasonic doing to computer tws and tea?

Ha - goes to show you shouldn't shop by pictures! I just skimmed the site read (track your sails) and put too much together
-
their ultrasonic model (though a little pricey) has a built in GPS and so you wouldn't even need it to tallk to your chartplotter - just have a couple of cheap tablets to connect to.

Twisted Sisters went offshore - twice. 1st time as a standard 9m Turissimo

Or . . . depends on whether you're a sailor . . . or not!

those numbers all line up with my experience on Ballistic and Euphoria before her.

ha ha - agreed Mattm.
Frank - I thought your arguement' "The old rule of thumb for the engine in yachts was 2HP per Ton, now its more like 4HP per ton. So there are a significant number of older boats that are under-powered." was pretty funny. It doesn't tell me that older boats are under powered, just that newer boats are saiLed less!

I thought he had a good point. In his view, the AC was traditionally the pinnacle of the sport - him being able to compete is not conducive to that. That's his view - our sport is so wide and varied that there will be a dozen counter views - all with some degree of validity.
Me - I say bring back the foiling cats - they were f**ken awesome!
