    Wow dude, who pissed in your cornflakes this morning. My comment was just my Point of view from what the Picture shows. Am I not allowed to out forward my point of view? It's interesting to hear the comments from those that have seen this kind of thing and I take that on board. I am surprised that just Fishing gear is washing up, I would have expected a mix of plastics. But OK.

    Yeh sorry perhaps a bit harsh. But your POV was ignorant and I had already had to deal with a lot of other ignoramuses pissing in my cereal yesterday. There's only so much of other people's pish you can handle!

    News from the fleet still racing is that Les Crane's Farr PH 56, Monterey had been abandoned after taking on water; the cause is unknown. The crew are all safe and well having been transferred onto the Volvo 60, Esprit De Corps IV. The schooner Spirit of Bermuda is close by and both boats are making their way to the finish in Bermuda.

    Whats not been so widely covered in the media as BA also hooked up the start mark line....

    You can just see it start to run off after the boat in that vid SottiE posted.

    All a bit armature really, its one thing having a prang, its another hooking up the start mark. Sir Ben isn't driving a laser now. (what dinghy did he win his Olympic golds in?)

     

    yeh - though that's a bit rough - there's no way that he should be able to hook the mark without hitting it.  Last time round I thought they had GPS positioned marks?

    Be careful guys - who are you to come in and debunk Prof Wheels with your alternative facts.  Afterall he did study that photo - twice!  That other mob are just a bunch of loonie leftie academics with paper degrees from some noname tertiary institution at the bottom of the world - all they did was go and have a wander round the island and dig a few deep holes. I mean seriously - you should be ashamed of yourselves!
