Can’t take credit for the interior of mine - superb finish by the original builder. They used POR15 and brushed it on by hand - not that you would know - he’s a panel beater by trade so that’s why! It’s realy hard stuff and doesn’t chip.

yup - i'd agree. The "little" cuddy doesn't look too bad

From Sheet 7 of the original drawings for Ballistic. I'm figuring Tony won't mind as its for a fellow T owner who's boat would also have been built from a licensed set of drawings. I'll buy him a drink in the club next time I see him!

I might have an original drawing of this in my bits and pieces at home. Will check later

I wonder whether actually cutting open the tube, adjacent from the seam and then installing a decent patch "inside" and then reparing the cut wouldn't infact be the best solution. you'd then be able to apply some reasonable compression to the repair site while the clean acess slot would be a much tidier repair. Locate the slot/hole so that you can put a tidy well profiled patch over with no overlaps.

that's a YDL van next to her - so if they've been working on her she'll be done very well.

it's not about usability but purely to
"Be the talking point and make a bold statement wherever you go with this sleek and elegant beauty."
why?

Needed another 5 mins in the oven I thought - looked a bit undercooked on the top.

I noticed this morning that some boats have been moved across to Hobson bay - one of the modified Turissimo cats in particular.

Live footage now up on twitter. Helicopter shots of the front three blast reaching just stunning!

not just a duck - pretty awesome story behind the guy

I'm confused - did you just buy her or are you selling her?
Oh wait- we're talking about two different boats!

Yeh right!

Could have been a pretty aweful outcome

Be nice to get Greg's take on it but I reckon it'll be damn near impossible to move. It's full to the deck with sand. You'd need to dig that out by hand (or maybe dredge) as you dug around the perimeter.

what's even scarier is that the story seems to imply that it would have cost more than the 280k to restore it to the water!

I think you'll find that their forecasting is far more accurate than you realise. Your confirmation bias forgets how often they are accurate for a start. Secondly you are only at one point in space at any given time, whereas the forecast region covers a pretty significant area. I was up a ridge near Ramarama this weekend and we had some pretty horrendous wind and rain within the time band of the forecast I read on Friday.

We’ve got a Dixon and can concur with BooBoo’s advice on how to use it
Here’s one that looks very similar to BP’s
Here’s another for quite a bit less

I didn't get the impression that it would be "non-stop" - he's allowing 2 years to do this.
Which marina has lowest salinity that might react with Micron 66

Sounds like a red herring to me wrt to stormwater runoff into marinas. The average volume of runoff water would be many many orders of magnitude smaller than the average volume change of water in a marina at each tide.
By brackish / freshwater I think you'll find that comments are really with respect to ocean accessible rivers and lakes in Europe and the Americas. Extending them to tidal marinas does not make sense.
