Was built by Phizzle (Phil from UK Sail Makers in Whangarei) He has some good stories for that boat too! Give him a call and have a yarn with him while he is locked down!

Sagitta was a Modified Spencer Saracen there were 3 of them built the most famous being Saracen for Tom Clarke as the trial horse for a much larger boat the larger boat being Infidel .Simon's boat had a large quantity of lead added and a much bigger keel profile .A larger rig was added with more sail area and a modern cabin profile

Cherub Traveller Series Regatta No 3
Whanagarei cruising club (Parua bay )
29/30th May 2021
The format will be similar to the recent Kerikeri regatta with each day having a windward leeward race followed by a triangle and then a longer harbour course (weather dependant)
Prizes include a cherub package from U-Dek and more.
The boats will be rigged up at Parua Bay in the compound so anyone not sailing can come on down and check them out- 2
