SloopJohnB 322
Plenty of holes around PNG. It looks like head east to 150E then head se to go between Port Villa and New Caledonia and then home.
rigger 47
Hopefully I'll do better in this leg, way to many errors and not enough time to get online. Just had a look - agree SJB, otherwis it will be flogging about in light winds
SloopJohnB 322
From Sailtalk Jeroen 14:43: IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have included a additional mark north of the Philippines. Please reload to see the change. If you have Cape Engano on your route you have the latest course already loaded.
SloopJohnB 322
I was going all hi tech on this leg, downloaded Bluewater Racing, loaded it all up, but there is so much to do for a techno freak to get something out of it, so START/CONTROL PANEL/PROGRAMS AND FEATURES/UNINSTALL. Back to SOTP

It looks like head east to 150E then head se to go between Port Villa and New Caledonia and then home. Probably not as far east as 150E about 135E (5 days sailing) before heading SE. SloopJohnB 322
Getting over the urge to sailing in light holes now. All on 100TWA.
Guest
If anyone wants to drive my boat go for it, I can't get in again. Also be aware I don't think I can sail on TWA only CC as even when set on TWA it goes in a striaght line. Don't bother with DC's they don't seem to be working either, watch for random DC's turning up out of god knows where and watch for random course changes, I've had a couple since the start. Don't know what's going on but it seems I'm having a full clusterfuck.
SloopJohnB 322
She will be in safe hands, where do you want to head ...... for the nearest wind hole or BBQ beach.

Guest
Crap, so it's done that again. That's the 2nd time she's gone TWA = 0 for no apparent reason. Did it the 1st night as well. There's a ghost in the machine somewhere but at least we know sometimes it does work on TWA
rigger 47
I'm off to do a delivery, may not be able to get online much until Wednesday evening. Would appreciate someone keeping an eye on my boat.
