BigBlue 0 Posted June 15, 2014 Share Posted June 15, 2014 So I've got a question for all you crusiers out there.. My wife and I are looking at heading off to the south pacific this time next year. We figure by the time we buy the boat, get it up to Cat 1, or at least add the things we want to add, and then sell it on our return we are looking at it costing us a bit of our capitol (which we'd expect and to a certain extent are happy to do for the privilage of heading off for 6-8 months..) But, my wife asked a question that i just couldn't answer. Are we able to charter a yacht for 6-8 months?? that way it might still cost us the same in the end, but we don't have the trouble and on going costs on our return...
