philstar 61 Posted July 23, 2014 Share Posted July 23, 2014 I have a garmin 172c chart plotter and lcd screen has packed up. It powers up and the backlight etc works. Does any one have a broken one with a good screen kicking around and want to donate it too me. or does any one want this one with a broken screen? or any ideas about fixing it? seems a shame to chuck it, as it was a great chart plotter but is obsolete now and garmin don't stock parts. It seems that most of the 2007 chart plotters / fishfinders have the same screen so 172 or 178 might work. Cheers Phil Link to post Share on other sites
