Island Time 1,239 Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Phil Folter and his crew on the Young 88 Full Circle again took out the bulk of the silverware at the Naval Point Club prizegiving on Sunday afternoon. The crew have had a good season of local fleet racing winning the Port Levy Race, New Brighton Pier Race, Spencer Park Race as well as the Short Harbour Series, Club Championship Series, Offshore Series and Harbour Series. The Prizegiving was held after the final race in the Whisky Galore Winter Series where a tight battle between the Young 88s saw a points draw between Colin Lock’s Legacy II and Flying Machine (Craig Edwards). In a series dominated by light and fluky conditions Full Circle took the win in the final race with Flying Machine securing second place by seconds only ahead to Legacy II to take the series win on countback.
