Island Time 1,235 Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 For a while now, you have been able to make (or add to) your charts with devices like the Lowrance HDS Gen 3. As you go along it will map the sea floor very accurately - countours down to 300mm spacing. It is a great system for anyone who lives in an area with only larger scale charts, or even an estuary/river with none.
