Guest
They have no flame failure device, so if flame goes out, they can fill your boat with Gas. Try it, plenty of surrounding kindling to cook your beans and sausages then
Guest
Hi Wheels - thanks for that - sorry about the slow reply - been away in Aussie for a week. Good time, average weather............... And I've splashed out on the meths stove - instal it on the gimbals next week. HERE COMES SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just found this post ... glad you have ventured the meths/alcohol way... we have a 3000, and now a 6000 (hob + oven) about to be installed. No fuss and pretty much fail safe! Would be good to hear how you get on with your cooking
Terry B 71
Hi SS, can't answer you on the stove - sold the trailer sailer before I got a chance to really use it. Now I've bought another boat with lpg installed - but at least the bottle is outside this time - and well vented. I know several people who swear by the origo's though. Cheers
