Another fishing story from the w/e.

 

Younger daughter hadn't really done much fishing before. Asked for a turn "sure hold the rod and when you feel a bite give it an upward movement"

 

A couple of minutes later Angela looks over and she's jerking the rod up and down continuously.

"what are you doing?"

"Getting lots of bites"''

"why not pull it in?"

"not while I'm getting all these bites" All the time jerking the rod like a maniac.

Eventually she pulled it in to find a snapper on each hook, nearly drowned.

I thing she was trying to teach them to tap dance.
