Guest
Someone should buy TW ASAP. That is a good asking price if you are a buyer...From what I hear she hasnt done much sailing since I sold her. Is a very cool boat. has a first and a 2nd in her division in the Coastal Clasic, one of which was in tough conditions and also won the BOI regatta and SSANZ serries a couple of years ago.. Nice boat to sail. Is quicker than Strictly Business but would be good racing between them if they both stay in Wellington. Some of the details in the trade me add are a bit sketchy. She is glass over kauri ply not solid kauri so is quite light. Strictly is solid glass SR26 hull extended 600 and TW is a Ross 780 extended 600 and the topsides cut down.. Both have Ross 930 type rigs and both have about 360kg in the bulb.Rudder foils are close to being the same ( quite large on todays standards.) but they never let go !.I have the same one on Tongue Twister too. Was hoping that a local would buy those boats as they are well suited to the Bay of Islands conditions. GO THE HOT-RODS
