Atom Ant 0 Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 Just read confirmation from Schnack-Net: But it is now confirmed. There will be an America’s Cup regatta in San Francisco. In 2013. According to an announcement from Golden Gate Yacht Club, dates for the event are tentatively set for summer of 2013 for the Challenger/Defender series and early fall for the America's Cup Defense series. Prior to the AC match, there will be “World Series” warm-up regattas in European, North American and maybe Asian or Middle Eastern ports. These ports will be announced on or before January 31, 2011. The warm-up regattas will be in 45 foot catamarans, the match proper in 72 footers. Link to post Share on other sites
