Three-handed sprints with kites on 930s are the absolute bomb.

The boats are made for 'em.

Better get yourself and your crew on a fitness regime KM!

If anybody needs a crew for either series I'm keen and possibly stuff in the interim for that matter...

I don't have a shed-load of big boat race experience to be honest as mostly I've been dinghy racing but am now sort of a boatless wonder.

PM me or call 021575722

Cheers

Andrew

That's OK Ptown, they aren't big boats more just dingys with a shot of old school steroids, Stieny Blue I think they were called back then :)

I'll spread the word.

I wonder if we should charter a boat for this and fly up for it Dave?
Na, we northerners would just kick your arse.

Now is that a serious comment or a wind-up to give more incentive to get you up here?

Probably about time for a R930 Inter-City Challenge.

There's a simple way to find out.

Stop stroking it, and bring one of your 'great northern machines' down to Wellington and find out if you can cope down here.

Better yet, come down for Christmas/New Year in the Sounds and do the Waikawa Regetta in Early January.

;)

The way I see it - it can only be a god thing that we are considering making the effort.

Well I could say one of Team Welly came up here only to find he couldn't handle the weather we sail in day in day out and broke so Welly for a Akl boat should be a doddle................ but I'm sure Murphy and his arse of a Law would prove that to be a very poor plan to be basing things off.

Ya never know, I might arrive. I'd sure like to get down that way and have a play. Is your sailing area infested with yellow buoys, dicks in big fizz nasties and piles of randoms in boats pulling Crazy Ivans every 100mts?

:) having sailing in Auckland for 25 years I am relatively sure I can hack it.

No hardly any of that stuff down here. Plenty of room.
