ex Elly 197
When dipping a starboard tacker upwind, never ease the traveller. Always ease the mainsheet. Roy is very hot on this after being t-boned by an MRX.

The next seminar is on 26 April - advanced sail trim. It's being held by North Sails at their sail loft - more details to follow...
Guest
When dipping a starboard tacker upwind, never ease the traveller. Always ease the mainsheet. The theory being??? Hell faster to drop and then get back our traveller than sheet. Unless it's a monster dip that is.
