AJ Oliver 154
http://www.heritech.com/goldenrule/goldenrule.htm We would like to have an international crew for this boat, and who better than sailors from the world's most anti-nuke country - ie., New Zealand? The Golden Rule is an antecedent of the Rainbow Warrior, and a project of the U.S. Veterans for Peace, of which I am a member. Our goal is to have the boat in San Francisco for the America's Cup next year. The re-build is now in progress in Humboldt County, California, one of the most naturally beautiful areas in the world. Besides crew, we can use help from shipwrights, fund raisers, and general support. What say you?

AJ Oliver 154
We have serveral Kiwi replies, which is great. Let me try to tempt you further. If you like Kauri trees, you'll also like Humboldt county's redwoods, some are over 90 meters. Kinda like your South Island, Humboldt is an outdoorsmen's paradise - great for tramping & fishing. http://redwoods.info/showrecord.asp?id=3434 And if you know of other NZ groups that it would be worthwhile for us to contact, please let me know.
