Yet another Aussie is being hired by Coutts, this time to run the sailing team for the USA based Defender club of the America’s Cup. Why should America support Golden Gate YC in their defence of the America’s Cup when the entire team is made up of almost all non-American’s? Do they mean to tell us that of all the sailing talent in the US, there wasn't one Yank who is on par with the admittedly talented Simmer? The joke is on anyone who bought the idea of Coutts' notion of job creation for San Francisco. Guest Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Because the AC has nothing to do with countries bar the Marketing Dept's desire to hype it into something it isn't. It would make the AC a lot more relevant and interesting to many if it was tied to countries but then too many of the 'AC club' would be without jobs. Link to post Share on other sites
