Guest Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 This Way up was VERY close to pissing it in just before that photo. It looked like they were leaning over at 45 degrees and I just assumed that would tip over it was so very close. When it rounded up the stern started to sink on the leeward side and it then looked like they were going over backwards. It would be fair to say that we have found a new limit for pushing the boat with the kite up .... I think we were well past 45 degrees by the time we got head to wind ! I was sitting on the side wall of the cockpit in relative comfort for a few seconds ! Gutted you didn't get any pics of it as it would have looked awesome ! Even more gutted that timber wolf and dirty deeds got past us as we had held them off for the whole race and thought we had it in the bag Link to post Share on other sites
