Grinna 2 Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 I would expect that most boats would be going southward from the south Pacific back to NZ or Aussie at that time (or earlier) to avoid the cyclone season. Very few boats would be heading into the tropical cyclone belt at the start of the season and I doubt I'd really want to crew with any skipper who thought that was a grand idea.
