Luff= 4.1m Foot= 2.8m Leech= 5.3m suit 28-38 ft boat. note :the foot does drop - as a good trysail should, so that the clew is approximately 0.3m below the line of the tack. Guest Posted April 6, 2013 Share Posted April 6, 2013 Hi David, Yes I agree with your comment that the sail should be set using a tack strop, I just meant that it shouldn't look like a right angled triangle between the tack and foot, that's all.
