Guest Posted October 1, 2013 Share Posted October 1, 2013 SEA SURVIVAL REFRESHER COURSE NOVEMBER 3rd SSANZ have organised a sea survival refresher course with the Coastguard on the 3rd November at the marine rescue centre in mechanics bay. To be eligible for this course you need to hold a CURRENT cert at the time of the course. Cost for this course is $180 per person. This is well under half the price of doing a full course and gives you a further 5 years of certification. Even if you still have plenty of time left on your cert it’s a good idea to do the cheaper refresher course now as once your cert has expired you have to complete the full course again. All offshore races require a certain number of crew to be certified, and some require all crew so it’s a very handy qualification to have. Get in quick as spots are limited.
