  1. Hi Flyer

    Snapper Quotas

I think this is a positive step in the right direction. 30cm is a reasonable fillet, and 7 snapper per fisho is more than enough.
  2. Hi Flyer

    tack hammer

I was impressed how you guys pulled away once we got to tiri!
  3. Yeah I think you're right- small boat div doesn't require the liferaft. Awesome.
  4. I wont lie it has crossed my mind! But I do love my car! That's exactly what I did for my first yacht. Sold my VW and bought a Ford. An extra 5k goes a long way! Personally I reckon a Farr 727 is your best bet. As previously advised, take your time
  5. Hey guys.. I'll be in the smallboat division, so I need to be Cat 4. Cat 4 doesn't require EPIRB, or a liferaft/inflated dinghy on deck. Reading the promo file it looks like I need an EPRIB for all races, and for the 100 shorthaul (63ish NM) a liferaft or inflated dinghy on deck. Can anyone confirm?
  6. What's the deal with your boat situation Marshy. Looking at getting another?
  7. Hi guys There's a room available in our Orakei flat. Small room, cheap rent, big house. Check out our ad: http://www.trademe.co.nz/flatmates-want ... 947304.htm PM or contact me on 021 187 1612 if you're interested. Cheers Chris
  8. Okahu is fantastic- parking is free by the dinghy racks and a few other places. Orakei Marina security also do a great job monitoring the whole area. I've been moored at Okahu Bay since 2009 and never had any security issues.
