They use an off the shelf Ebox with a 10 meter cable. Mount the box on a bulkhead, lead a wire to engine next to the bulkhead.

Hi, I have just bought a yacht which has no AC connection. I have been quoted $1500 for mounting a ready made 10A EBox (they do need to change someting inside the box) on the wall plus installing a ground cable plus doing the Ewof. This sounds to much to me. I doubt the labor is more than 1 hour. Is this realistic? Feels too much.

In the meantime remembered. It was fgi nuplex. Are they out of business? Alternatives?

Hi, I need to do a medium laminating repair on my sailboat. Many years ago I used to buy cheap quality epoxy somewhere in Henderson near the highway but forgot where and the name of the place. I think it was FG epoxy or similar supplied in yellow canisters. Any suggestions? Or alternative supplier? Cheers Geza
