  1. Hi All, This is to let everyone know that registration is now open for the Waikato Yacht Squadron's - Gulf Classic 2020. This is our premier event for the sailing calendar and we're very proud to be running this regatta for its 38th year!! Everything you need to know is on the flyer below, including links to Facebook, email, website and registration forms. Hope to see you there!! Paul.

  5. KiwiFish - I didn't see you yesterday.... I was at the yard painting the V birth (worst way to spend the day ever - apart from working)
  6. You have no idea how many TS sailors are going to seek you out now!! a shower - such luxury
  7. Brilliant blog kiwifish. I'm from Hamilton also and belong to the Waikato Yacht Squadron. I've got a Moonraker 23 up at a Kawakawa bay. Hopefully will be heading out for a sail this weekend around Waiheke. Keep up the good work. Regards, Paul.
  8. Hi Kiwifish - Yes I'm a member. The club is very active with plenty of events through the season. (both racing and cruising) Having mast up storage at Kawakawa bay is huge bonus as you can be sailing in 30 minutes from arrival. The next club meeting is next Tuesday (27th Sept) at 19:30 at the Hamilton Yacht club. (building next to the Hamilton Lake) If you want anymore info ping me on 021490415 Paul.
  9. Hi Kiwifish - As you're from the Tron and plan to store the boat at Kawakawa Bay can I assume you belong to the Waikato Yacht Squadron? If you don't then it might be worth contacting them and come out for a sail on a bunch of different Trailer Sailers to get an idea of size and sailing behaivour. http://www.waikatoyachtsquadron.org.nz/
  10. in response.... There was a rich crew from the U.S. Whose boat they claimed was the best Their glory was fleeting When they got caught cheating Now their trimmers' having a rest.
