  1. They're off on the first leg. Both Mapfre and Brunel ie Tuke and Burling copped penalties for giving insufficient room to Dongfeng at a turning point. Oops

  2. Speaking of which my 18hp volvo is crammed in behind the steps under the cockpit with maybe an inch to spare all round. I run the engine with the ply side panel in the lazarette off so the engine does get air. I would prefer to put vents and an extinguisher in place. Suggestions please. Thanks

  3. Just to confuse you further young fulla when I was sussing out nonskid earlier this year I applied resene nonskid to one side deck and kiwi grip to the other. The price is the same. I found the resene easier to apply, dries faster and has a much better grip especially when wet. You can roll it but I liked the stippled finish with a brush.

    I even found the International intergrip nonskid particles in varnish provided a better grip than the Kiwigrip. That's my 50 cents worth
