Thanks for that OT, looks good, but in description it says max rpm 500 and think the Ryobi spins a bit quicker?

Would love to see an updated list of Northland shops. Yes to Mangonui,Paihia,Russell, Opua, anymore?
-
I would suggest joining a club yacht racing and crewing for a season, meaning being out in the totally shyte days as well as the nice days. Learn heaps then.

Anybody bought one? (Lithium battery, portable, $90,)Good for on the boat?As advertised on Internet. Pretty tempting.

Needless concern. Answer is 55' , from the maker. No macerator, diaphragm pump. Surprisingly heavy.

Like there is a limit to how high a pump can pump, called head I think. Presently need to pump up about a meter high to the anti syphon valve.
-
Can anybody work out the height of head. 20L a minute TML pump. 38 mm hose (empty holding tank)thanks

So if cut down, basically remove the plain shank part, will it still lock in the jaws?

I find, in the wonderful world of boating, that if nobody else goes somewhere, then I wont either. Generally a damn good reason for it,and pray I wont be finding it.
ie, have never seen a vessel in there.

That part of the wharf is not floating,so up/down ladders? Dont think I would put my bow there, not much room to maneuver.Water, dont know, dont think so.

To do shopping, Paihia has supermarkets where as Opua has only the general store. So can anchor off Paihia, or go on a jetty(water is the finger at the end near Waitangi)but you wont loiter.Opua- you can go on the yacht club pontoon and get water(a levy $5-$10, )and there is booking book in clubhouse. So someone may have already booked half of the pontoon(meant to be able to get 2 boats on.)

Thinking to use some new 38mm hose, and, to keep costs down,40mm pvc rigid plumbing pipe wherever possible.Anybody done this? Practical?
-
I would ring Caters again. My shrouds are 7mm, and the roller very snug. Unless they've sold out. I can check for you in the next few days when I can go in there.
-
Just bought that in Cater Marine in Opua, so are available.

Hard to know what you are trying to say. Who got 30% in SC English?Presumably you? Hence trouble to convey ideas.

He trots out the old rascist accusation. End of argument eh.Your grammar could be improved somewhat "you aren't not outside of it" LOL

This "government overreach" seems to be working for NZ

Gosh, any other yachts arriving are not going to find customs too welcoming. And this is the first negative I've ever heard about them.Quit complaining.

Looks like I have a spare tiller handle(bolt just broke)

What oil are you using? And from where?

See mention of a"national vessel registration"
