bbay, for once i got up on the dance floor to keep the wife and daughter happy, her 21st, (the daughter that is not the wifes).
Now usually this form of sport is not partaken in, tends to froth the beer.
So while doing nothing exceptional i feel a hard thump in the back of my leg, hard enough that i turned to thump whoever had hit me from behind. But no one was behind me and i then realised walking was going to be difficult.
Ruptured/snapped archilles, so thats it no more dancing just drinking from now on.

why do we need two or more buildings on the same beach for the same sports?
Smithy's comments are those i agree with.
lot's of other clubs around the shore and town that could easily accomodate elite sailors and this would possibly benefit all sailors and the clubs.
There is no way all classes can or could fit here
The committee/management of this centre, again i'm sure they could meet at a club that already exists.
the only thing i see required at Takapuna beach is more parking for the boats, both sailing and patrol, this could be near the camp ground or beside Takapuna Boating club.
here comes another high cost item to further reduce the takings from lotteries and the like for all and perhaps soak up more of our YNZ levies.
as far as our rates go and the camp site, ask what the cafe is paying for rent to the council and how this all came about

If you are going to do a pull down test don't forget to put plenty of heavy loose items inside to shift about and slow it coming back up, you, a mate and a couple of slabs of beer should about cover itNot this one, it'll froth the beer and spill the rum, but i'm sure D2 would be up for the ride

Used to like and support two of them but this election anybody involved with DD got a big NO.
In fact perhaps he could say how much he pays for the lease on the cafe he has on our land !
