Black Panther 1,601
This was home for nearly a year in the late 70's. Left Sydney in the race to Noumea but popped a couple of seams and went to Lord Howe to fix. Eventually got to Noumea, then Port Vila then North and West ending up in the Solomons before returning via Cairns. Always turned heads when we came into an anchorage. 2 in teak on 4 in oak frames, designed Watson and Fife 1908. Ron of Argyll. Ron.pdf

Black Panther 1,601
This one is way more irresponsible than the first. Sailing to Juneau, the crew were asleep when I got under way and decided to put the kite up. Proud of myself for doing it solo for the first time I got in the dinghy with a long string to take a photo. At which point I decided it probably wasn't a good idea. Getting back to the boat proved harder than i thought. I'm now a big fan of staying on the boat. Photo was taken about 0430, it never really got dark.
